We had a superb time at the Pytchley Inn, West Haddon, and with 35 attending the biggest turn-out on record. We were host to Peter and Ann Johnson, and were very glad our Chairman could visit on such a splendid day weatherwise. The restaurant responded magnificently to a far greater number than had been booked, and we all agreed this must now be a regular venue.
The next Noggin will be on November 9th, at the Sharnford Arms, Sharnford. Details on the Noggins page. Always click on the village name if you are not sure where the place is, to get a map. This will be our AGM and I am told that the pub is now offering a chinese menu, which will be a change for us.
Our Christmas bash will be at the Chequers Inn, Ullesthorpe, same as last year, on December 14th.
The Reports page has the current DonMog newsletter and the illustrated account of our very enjoyable 2008 Scottish Holiday. The Secretary is already thinking about next year (and even maybe the year after).
