Meditations of a Net Caster

The community of the Internet is a very special place. For many it is an important avenue for meeting people and making friends, albeit accepting the limitations of cyber-friendship. One may not meet face to face, but one can meet any one in the world, with no national borders or vast distances creating the difficulties they usually do.

I am offering a ministry to the community of the Internet. The ministry is of moral and spiritual guidance to all who have the time and the inclination to stop here for a while, and read, and think. I used to earn my crust on the Internet, and use it a great deal of my leisure time.

If any thoughts conveyed here prompt you to write to me, please do so. I have no formal qualifications as either a pastor or a mentor, except a degree in Classics and Theology, a lifetime of spiritual activity, a working life that has been challenging and fulfilling, being a husband and a father, and the fund of experience that can only be got by being alive for sixty years and more.

The title of this site implies a casting of thoughts towards the Net community. The phrase will also strike a chord for some readers, as it echoes two well known incidents in the life of the Teacher.

This site is now presented as a blog, which you can therefore comment on.
